Branding work for an organic incense brand, relacō. The brand’s name stands for a combination of “relax” and “cō,” meaning incense in Japanese. The main audience for this brand is the young adult generation who are living through busy days in the city. The product was meant to provide relaxation moments for those people stepping aside from the hustle of the city. 

Mission

- Provide organic incense that helps busy urban individuals find moments of calm amidst the city’s hustle

- Inspire a peaceful pause in daily life

I combined the shape of leaves, which represent the organic aspect of the product,t, and the shape of incense smoke. The letter “l” represents the incense itself as well. The application of thin lines all over the design creates a sense of softness, calmness, and sophistication. 


Part of the reason for choosing gray as a brand color is because it fits with the urban scenery such as sky-hi building or concrete walls. With that main color, colors like green and orange shown on the package as representations of aroma creates a sense of inordinately.
